Zimmer in 3er-WG (vorläufig bis Ende 2027) English below

In unserer Länggasse-WG wird ab Dezember ein Zimmer frei. Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Länggassstrasse an der Ecke zur Mittelstrasse und ist damit super zentral im Quartier gelegen. Wir sind im 4. Stock und leben zu dritt als Wohngemeinschaft.
Wir, das sind Justine (29) und ich (Miko - 33). Wir sind ein Paar und suchen entsprechend jemanden, der damit auch fein ist, wünschen uns aber unbedingt ein ausgeglichenes und lebendiges Zusammenleben mit unserer neuen Mitbewohner:in. Wichtig vorab: Die gemeinsame Sprache ist Englisch (Ju spricht französisch und ich deutsch).

Zu uns:
Justine ist Data Scientist bei Agroscope mit Begeisterung für erneuerbare Energien. Viel wichtiger aber neben der Arbeit Ju hat eine Leidenschaft fürs Malen, ist immer motiviert für Sport und Aktivitäten (Klettern, Kiten, Calisthenics, ...) und Spiele! Ich (Miko) bin teils in einer Agentur tätig und teils selbstständig als Webdesigner. Dadurch bin ich generell eher viel am arbeiten und mache drumherum viel Sport oder setze kreative Projekte um (Fotografie/Web/Whatever).
Generell wünschen wir uns ein neues WG-Gspändli mit gutem Vibe, das gut zu uns passt. Wichtig ist für uns, dass wir easy miteinander umgehen können, eine offene Kommunikation, Freundschaft und gemeinsame Momente, Kochen, Spiele, Gespräche. Die Erfahrung zeigt aber auch, dass bei drei beschäftigten Menschen manchmal fixe gemeinsame Termine schwer sein können. Umso wichtiger ist, dass wir die spontanen und ungeplanten Momente gemeinsam geniessen und entstehen lassen können :) Ebenso wichtig ist uns, dass Partner:innen und Freunde immer willkommen sind in unserem Zuhause.

Zum Zimmer und der Wohnung:
Das Zimmer befindet sich auf der Hinterseite des Hauses und hat demnach ein Fenster zum (meistens) sehr ruhigen Innenhof. Nur selten gibt es mal ein Fest in einer Bar gegenüber, bei dem es auch etwas länger Musik zu hören gibt. Im Vergleich zu den Zimmern, die vorne Richtung Länggasse sind, ist es definitiv das ruhigste Zimmer, dafür aber auch das kleinste in der Wohnung.
Die Küche ist der Ort für das Zusammenkommen und gemeinsame Momente, im Sommer auch der kleine aber feine Balkon (der an Justines Zimmer anhängt aber grundsätzlich nutzbar ist, wenn sie nicht da ist). Das Badezimmer hat eine Badewanne, yeah! Zudem haben wir noch ein recht grosses Kellerabteil und zusätzlichen noch auf dem Estrich ganz viel Platz, für alles, was keinen Platz in der Wohnung findet.

Das Zimmer ist vorläufig bis Ende 2027 mit einem Untermietvertrag verfügbar.

Room in a 3-person shared apartment (tentatively until the end of 2027)

A room will become available in our Länggasse shared apartment starting in December. The apartment is located right on Länggassstrasse at the corner of Mittelstrasse, making it super central in the neighborhood. We're on the 4th floor and live as a trio in a shared apartment.

We are Justine (29) and I (Miko - 33). We're a couple and are looking for someone who's okay with that, but we definitely want a balanced and lively living situation with our new roommate. One important note: We are mostly speaking englisch as Justine's mother tongue is French and mine is German.

About us:
Justine is a data scientist at Agroscope with a passion for renewable energy. But even more important than her workJu is passionate about painting, is always up for sports and activities (climbing, kitesurfing, calisthenics, etc.), and loves games! I (Miko) work part-time at an agency and part-time as a freelance web designer. Because of this, I generally work quite a lot, and in my free time I do a lot of sports or work on creative projects (photography, web design, whatever).

Overall, we're looking for a new roommate with a good vibe who's a good fit for us. What's important to us is that we can get along easily, have open communication, friendship, and shared momentslike cooking, playing games, and having conversations. Experience has shown, however, that with three busy people, it can sometimes be hard to set fixed times to get together. That makes it all the more important that we can enjoy and let those spontaneous, unplanned moments happen together :) It's just as important to us that partners and friends are always welcome in our home.

About the room and the apartment:
The room is located at the back of the house and therefore has a window facing the (mostly) very quiet courtyard. Only rarely is there a party at a bar across the way where music can be heard for a bit longer. Compared to the rooms facing Länggasse at the front, it's definitely the quietest room, but also the smallest in the apartment.

The kitchen is where we gather and spend time together; in the summer, we also enjoy the small but lovely balcony (which is attached to Justine's room but is generally available for use when she's not there). The bathroom has a bathtubyeah! We also have a fairly large basement storage area and plenty of extra space in the attic for anything that doesn't fit in the apartment.

The room is currently available under a sublease agreement through the end of 2027.
