Don't give fraudsters a chance
In order to protect our advertisers against online fraud, ImmoScout24 would like to draw their attention to potential dangers in the advice given below. By taking the correct precautions, you can protect yourself effectively against online fraudsters.
Fraudulent advertisements
Be on your guard when you come across advertised residential property which seems too good to be true. You may be dealing with a fraudulent advertisement. Report any suspicious advertisements to ImmoScout 24 Customer Service.
Improperly used contact forms
What should you do if you receive an improperly used contact form? Do not react to it and report it to ImmoScout24 Customer Service.
Theft of user data – Beware of «phishing e-mails»
Be careful when you are asked for your user name and password in an e-mail. It is highly likely to be a «phishing e-mail». Do not reply to it.
Foreign exchange fraud – or rip deal
If someone who appears to be interested in your property advertisement suggests doing a foreign exchange deal with you ‘on the side’, be careful! It may be a foreign exchange scam.
If you have any further questions or want to report misuse, our Customer Service will be happy to help you.
