Inspired by the traditional Valaisan "raccards", this chalet is composed of a larch frame resting on a stone base. This base, which seems to protect the dwelling by giving it a structural footing, houses an independent carnotzet accessible from the ground floor. Horizontal latticework diffuses the morning sun in the dining room and puts the occupants out of sight of prying eyes. The west-facing balcony plays its protective role perfectly against the summer sun. A fireplace integrated into the glazed facade also contributes to the animation of the central space.
